Knead the Scoop, Season 1 Finale

Hello bakers! We are so happy to announce that the final episode of Knead the Scoop, season one, will air next Friday, April 17.

Developing The Recipe

Since it’s our final episode of the season, we wanted to make it the sweetest one yet! When I sat down with the team to plan how we’d celebrate the finale, we tossed around ideas like an extravagant dessert or a new location, and then it hit me. What if we brought a guest onto the podcast…specifically, a baker?

From there, I researched using social media, shows, and magazines to find the perfect first guest. I was looking for someone credible, someone with a strong presence in the baking industry, but more importantly, someone who could teach not just me, but you.

Mixing The Ingredients

After a couple of weeks of searching, I finally found the perfect baker for our season finale. Once I connected with his team, we set up a full meeting to walk through who Thw Sweet Dough is, what Knead the Scoop is about, and the role he’d play in the finale.

From there, we got to what really mattered, baking together! As we shared stories and exchanged tips, I felt even more confident in our choice.

While this guest is an incredible addition to Knead the Scoop, what stood out most to me is the value he brings to you. His advice, techniques, and perspective will elevate your baking just as much as they did mine.

Baking the Plan

While this is our season finale, next week’s episode will look a little different. Instead of me teaching, our special guest will be taking the lead!

Also, unlike our usual schedule, we’re opening things up early and sending out a question form now so you can be part of the conversation with our special guest.

With that being said, our special guest is the Great British Bake Off winner… Edd Kimber!
